However, only 119 miles of the planned 776-mile railroad has commenced construction so far. Meanwhile, the current cost estimate…
CABO DE LA VELA, Colombia (AP) — Giant wind turbines tower over a cemetery sacred to Zoyla Velasquez and her Indigenous Wayuu community, native to the La Guajira region in northern Colombia. This arid, wind-swept region, dotted with cacti and roaming herds of goats, holds immense potential to position Colombia as a wind and solar energy leader. Rising feed costs threaten poultry sector profitability despite strong demand: Crisil report

“Change is neither good nor bad. It simply is,” declares Donald Draper, the unflappable star of “Mad Men”, a television drama set in 1960s adland. Not all advertising executives share his sangfroid. Today, technology is changing the industry faster than at any time since Mr Draper’s era. The result is a reshaping of Madison Avenue that is leaving some admen choking on their Old Fashioneds. The biggest example of the disruption so far is a deal announced on December 9th, in which Omnicom and Interpublic, the world’s third- and fourth-largest ad-agency holding companies by revenue, propose to combine to become…

Judge Sean Lane said Thursday he would authorize Spirit’s restructuring plan, which hands control of the Florida-based discount airline to top bondholders. That group includes Ken Griffin’s Citadel Advisors, Pacific Investment Management Co. and Western Asset Management Co., according to court documents. Spirit in November sought court protection to restructure about $1.6 billion in debt after losing ground post-pandemic as larger airlines lured travelers away by offering more basic-economy fares.
